Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is an aspect of the Wake County Public School System's strategic plan that supports student development of critical social and emotional skills. These social and emotional skills encourage students to become more self-aware and to help them learn to interact with others more effectively.
Each of the five Social/Emotional competencies will be taught throughout the year during Guidance Specials.
